CONFERENCE GENERAL INFORMATION

The Texas Municipal Utilities Association 2022 Utility Leadership and Management Conference will not only focus on topics that utility administrators face with regularity, but will introduce facilitated forums to share ideas and valuable information; benefiting utility operators faced with the increasing demands of customers and regulatory agencies. The emphasis of the Texas Municipal Utilities Association is the leadership and management of municipal utilities, including the strengthening the relationship with administrators and members of governing bodies. The TMUA Annual Conference is a forum where members can learn from each other and benefit from their interaction with other municipal utility administrators in Texas.

LOCATION
The 2022 TMUA Utility Leadership and Management Conference will be held at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, located at 177 Joe Routt Boulevard, College Station, TX  77840.

HOTEL ACCOMODATION
The conference will be held at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center-right on campus and across the street from Kyle Field. The rate is $135-$145 per night through Thursday, March 31, at 5:00 p.m., or until TMUA’s block sells out.  The rate of $135 is for guestroom with a king bed and $145 for guest room with two queen beds.  BOOK YOUR ROOM.

PARKING AT THE HOTEL
Self-parking in available in the attached Gene Stallings Blvd. Parking Garage.  The third floor of Gene Stallings Blvd. Parking Garage attaches to third floor of hotel via covered bridgeway.  Parking in the garage is complimentary for overnight parkers.  Day, self-parking is discounted to $10 per vehicle per day.

REGISTRATION
Register before March 31 and save $25 on member and non-member rates.  Back by popular demand, any non-member registering for the conference will get a year’s membership in TMUA.  Registration will open at the end of February.  Early member registration is $250 and non-member registration is $300.

THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER
This night will be fun and a great time to network. We will be staying at the hotel for dinner followed by a secret agent challenge where we’ll separate into teams and see who is best at solving puzzles and spying!

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CEU’s)
All sessions have been submitted to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for CEU credit.  The number of available credits will be updated here once the conference sessions are approved.

CANCELLATION AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is received by April 20, 2022. No refunds will be honored after April 20, 2022.

CONFIRMATIONS/BADGES
Conference badges will be available at on-site registration.
