FROM DROUGHT RESILIENCY TO COVID STABILITY…RATE SUCCESS!

A look at how Mansfield Water Utilities (MWU) drought-resilient rate proved to also be sound during a pandemic. Much like many utilities: MWU paused charging penalties and fees and services disconnections. Anticipating the worst, everyone was pleasantly surprised when revenue remained strong throughout year-end. While this tested our rate resiliency, success proved deserving of MWU’s first AAA bond rating.

Speaker:  Jeff Price, Director of Water Utilities, City of  Mansfield
